Hi friends! Do you LOVE coffee like I do? Well I’ve been a huge fan of Keurig and the K-cup for a few years now, and today I’m sharing with you a quick, cheap and easy way to make your very own DIY Keurig K-Cup Organizer!
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of going thrift shopping at a local Goodwill with the lovely Andrea of Worley House and Laura of Pink Cake Plate. And it was so much fun! Not only did I score some great vintage Pyrex, but I also came across this empty spice rack. And a while back a friend of mine and A Night Owl contributor, Jen, mentioned that she had seen where you could upcycle an empty spice rack into a K-cup holder! I’ve always been on the lookout for a good and stylish K-cup organizer, but I’ve never wanted to pay $20-$30 for the plastic organizers I’ve seen out there, so I knew this was my solution!
The price tag on this old thing was $1.99. But lucky me! The day we visited Goodwill was 50% off Saturday! So for just $1 I knew I had a steal. I gave the rack a good washing, let it dry, then sprayed a couple of coats of spray paint (my go-to medium of choice) and voila! Pretty and functional!
What do you think of our DIY Keurig K-Cup Organizer? I’m just so happy with how it turned out. And now that it’s sitting next to my Keurig, full of my favorite Starbucks Verona K-Cups, I think I love it even more! What do you think?
Danette Dillon says
Wow. Hadn’t thought of doing that, but I going to now. Very cool.

Genius! Fo real. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for a cheap spice rack b/c these k-cups are taking up way too much space on my counter currently.
Kimberly says
Right? I had them all in a basket and it just wasn’t visibly appealing. This is so much better!
Jocelyn @BruCrew Life says
I now know what I need to find when I go thrifting again:-) I have always wanted a stand for my K-cups but could make myself pay the price for them. Yay for fun and cheap thrift store goodies!!!!
Kristen says
omgoodness, WAY COOL!! I love it!! What a nice thrift find!! I love seeing when people get good luck and make something SO awesome like this.
BTW – I wanted to tell you – I don’t know if you know of me or not, but I’ve only been around a couple of months and when I first found your blog, one of the 1st posts I read was about your afternoon drink you make when you get off from work; the Mickey D’s sweet tea with a splash of creamer….Well – let me say this…I craved that for, I swear it seemed forever..but then I finally remembered and had everything on hand and made me a gallon of my sweet tea and got out my Starbucks tumbler and omg!! Addicted! Really…this is totally my NEW thing, girl!! My husband makes it for me now when he’s being his sweet self…& he even told me HE loves it!! I always try to get him to share my iced vanilla coffee and he hates it. Bummer. But, he LOVES this!! And so do I! I told him it was from you and he even asked me this AM if I’d told you how much we love it, yet?! LOL!!! THANK YOU, KIMBERLY!!!
LOL Sorry for the awkwardly long comment! Just had to tell ya!
