Candy Making for Kids – A Review

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing with you a new book from one of our favorite stylists and authors, Courtney Dial Whitmore! You may know her from Pizzazzerie.com or from her popular Push-Up Pops book! We love the Push-Up Pops book in our home, and Courtney has hit another home run with her new book, Candy Making for Kids! As a mom of two little guys, it’s important to me to find activities and experiences that I can share with the kids. And this book provides just that!

With my little helper by my side, this weekend we decided to give the Kids Toffee a go! It’s the recipe you’ll see featured on the front of Courtney’s book and it just looks fabulous. The first part of the recipe involves the stove and oven, so I did that part myself. But once we got past that part, my little helper could help with the rest!

We both had so much fun together, it was true quality time. And little helper loved being a part of the process…ok, and eating some candy along the way. And on top of that? The Kids Toffee is amazing! I had to cut both of us off from eating too much of it!

So if you’re in the market for activities you can do with your kids AND some fabulous candy recipes to try, I would hands down recommend Candy Making for Kids! It would also make a fantastic gift for the holidays, for the little chefs in your life!
