Hi friends! It’s that time of year – time to trim your trees for the holiday season! And this week the gals here at A Night Owl are bringing you a week of quick and easy DIY ornaments – a Trim Your Tree series! And today I’m kicking the series off with a Twine Wrapped Candy Cane Ornament! Super easy to make (my kind of project), but so cute as well!
What you’ll need:
- Candy Cane
- Twine
- Alene’s Fast Grab Tacky Spray (or other adhesive)
- Button
And the steps:
- I sprayed sections of the candy cane as I went, wrapping the twine around it
- Once completely wrapped I simply tied a loop on the top for hanging
- For added cuteness, I added a simple bow with a button center and glued to the top
And here’s how it turned out!
Now I love a regular candy cane hanging in a tree, but why not add a Twine Candy Cane Ornament to your collection this year as well? Stay tuned this week as we share a few more fun DIY Ornament ideas!
