Hi friends! If you’re following along with my Home Depot series the last couple of weeks, you know that we’ve been talking about Innovations in Outdoor Power and our current Outdoor Power Needs. Well last weekend we had the chance to take a little bit of what we’ve learned so far into the store to scope their awesome outdoor power equipment first-hand! Come along on my shopping trip with me…
One of the innovations we shared before is the new Lithium battery technology. For instance, the Ryobi One+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Hybrid Cordless and Corded String Trimmer is the newest member of the ONE+ 18-Volt tool family – and it never runs out of power. It will work with any RYOBI 18-Volt battery, and it includes an 18-Volt lithium-ion battery that will power any RYOBI 18-Volt tool. Hello – talk about convenient?? I don’t know about you, but one battery to power them all? Done. But the most unique thing about the RYOBI Hybrid is the dual power source. You can go cordless and use the battery, or plug in for those projects closer to the house and your electrical outlets.
From the string and edge trimmers, I moseyed on over to the hedge trimmers. Now we have some serious bushes in our landscaping, can you relate? And they grow like crazy – who knew! We have a little baby trimmer (that seemed appropriate when we first moved in), but I’m thinking it’s time for an upgrade. Just LOOK at this selection! RYOBI also has 18-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Hedge Trimmers that again can use the same battery as the other RYOBI tools! So I’m starting to think if you need to snag a few of these tools, or upgrade – RYOBI lithium may just be the way to go.
Ohhh then on to the lawn mowers. We’re not currently in the market for a mower, but when we are, I know just where to go. Look at all of these options! And these are just the push mowers, don’t forget that The Home Depot also sells heavy duty mowers like the John Deere D105 42 in. 17.5 HP Automatic Front-Engine Riding Mower – you know, for the BIG jobs that are a little harder to find here in AZ.
And last – but not least – the pressure washers. Yes, I’m in love. I think I’ve just about convinced my husband that we badly need one of these in our lives. Did you read all of the things that you can clean with a pressure washer in my last post? Um, yah. It’s on my list. Pressure washers come in different sizes based on your pressure washing needs. Gas powered washers are reserved for the heavier duty jobs – like this DEWALT Pro Pressure Washer. But there are also electric washers with lower psi that can take care of the smaller jobs – like this Cleanforce 1800 psi 1.5 GPM Electric Pressure Washer.
So now just to make some decisions! We did some research initially on The Home Depot Outdoor Power Equipment page, the while in the store, talked with the fine associates at The Home Depot. They were available to answer any questions we had! It was great to see what was on hand and to get a feel for the products in person. So stay tuned and next time we’ll share the different factors we considered and what we would recommend in choosing your outdoor power tools at The Home Depot!
