Instax Mini Instant Camera Review + Giveaway

Instax Mini and Photo Display by anightowlblog.com

Hi friends! I have a FUN FUN FUN review and giveaway for you today! A couple of months ago I was able to snag an awesome discount on an Instax Mini Instant Camera from the fabulous PhotoJojo Store! Do you Photojojo? Oh I do! They have a TON of information on all things photography and have a lot of focus on subjects like iPhoneography and and Instagram – which you KNOW that I love! They offer all sorts of information, classes, project and craft inspiration AND they have an awesome photo store that, trust me, you’ll thank me for mentioning! It is filled with fun photo gifts and gear for photographers!

The Photojojo Store, only the Most Awesome

The Photojojo Store is where I first happened upon the Instax Mini Instant Camera. It’s literally the modern version of the Polaroid! How FUN is that? Let me tell you – it is! I knew instantly that I wanted one. For random snapshots of the boys, fun scavenger hunts – and best of all – the MOST fun party prop ever. We broke it out at AJ’s birthday party (which I still have to share with you all, oops!) to take pictures of all the kids there in their rockin’ party hats. It was such a fun souvenir for them to take home with them.

But the Instax is also a great way to update and display pictures in your home or office – wherever you want to add a little personality! Right now I have a little Instax photo display up on our mantel.

Instax Mini and Photo Display by anightowlblog.com

For these pictures, I actually took our new handy Instax on our recent photoshoot with Dream Photography Studio. I knew our boys would be coordinated and that the setting would be fun for some instant camera awesomeness. So while Stacey was snapping some pictures, I got a few too.

And when I got them home, I hung them up on this awesome “Hang Out with Us” 2 tier hanger I snagged from Pick Your Plum earlier this year! I then hung the hanger on an open wooden frame and placed it on our mantel. Such a fun little display! And the best part? With the Instax I can really switch out the pictures whenever I feel like! No need to wait for prints…

So what do you think? Are you ready to buy your own Instax Mini Instant Camera? Just head over to the PhotoJojo Store to snag one today – you won’t be disappointed! But just to add a little fun to the mix here a few of my bloggy buds and I got together to GIVE ONE AWAY to one lucky reader! You’ll get a brand new Instax Mini -and- a twin pack of instant film (which will come in handy of course)! So what are you waiting for – enter to win today via the Rafflecopter form below! This is EXACTLY what I need to capture my grandchildren. My digital camera is less than stellar. But even if I get a good pic, if it’s one I want to hang in my home, I either have to go somewhere to print it off, or print it off my printer, which is even LESS stellar than my digital camera. :(

  53. amy says

Wasn’t sure if i was to comment here or under the review link – so going to copy and paste! great review – not sure it is the first though – a few decades ago in the eightees they had a tiny instant camera that instantly printed the little pictures – and they were stickers – very cool. It was called the i-zone camera http://compare.ebay.com/like/251280792634?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar however i guess this is the most modern version – the 21st century version! I especially love the hang with us wire hanger – think I’m going to pin this review to my pinterest to check out later when I can look into buying them. Thank you for the heads up!

  54. Debbie says

I used to have a polaroid camera and I loved it. Even now I would love to have a camera that prints the pictures out instantly. I have a family member that is a performer and many times friends want their picture taken with him. I have to use my camera but I have no way of giving them the picture right then. So this would be great to have.

  58. alejandra castro says

  59. Jayden H. says

This looks amazing! I think I might buy one if I do not win the giveaway! I love how you hung them up!

  60. doan b says

I would love to have one of these! I went to a party for an older couple a few years ago and there were snap shots of their children as they were growing up attached to board on a table. I remember how nice that was.

  61. Geoff K says

I was sad to see the Poloroid sink into oblivion, so it’s awesome that a modern variation has taken its place — the photo quality looks great, and I love your choice of display!

  62. Amanda Sakovitz says

This is the first time hearing about this camera. I love the look of it and would love to win it
