Summer Entertaining Essentials with World Market #SummerFun

Hi friends! It’s Summertime! How many times have I said that now? Ok, a lot! But it’s so true, and it’s time to gear up for the months ahead with some Summer fun – and entertaining! And today we’re getting into the nitty gritty – the Summer Entertaining Essentials! This Summer, Cost Plus World Market has EVERYTHING you need for outdoor entertaining: from outdoor furniture, outdoor dining to BBQ & grilling essentials!

We recently threw a little outdoor Summer soiree. We fired up the grill and enjoyed dinner on our rustic little picnic table outdoors. And I picked up everything I needed to make the party #SummerFun at World Market!

But after numerous parties, I know that hosting can get overwhelming. But Summer entertaining can be a breeze if you shop at World Market and focus on the essentials! Let’s break it down…

1. Lanterns & Lighting

Even if your party starts during the day, lanterns and lighting are key! They are an easy way to set the mood and add an easy foundation for your decor! Choose from string lights and paper lanterns for hanging, or these lovely Ribbed Glass Lantern Candle Holders for the table.

2. Natural Textures

Natural textures also add depth and interest to your table setting. Layer natural fiber runners or tablecloths, ribbed glass lanterns filled with seaglass, and fun accents like seashells.

3. Interesting Dishware

The dishes you choose can set the theme! We picked up some of the fun Seascape Plates. I was sold on that beautiful and fun anchor pattern the moment I set eyes on them!

4. Drink Dispensers

Ok now, who doesn’t love a fun drink dispenser? I have to admit, I think I have a problem. I already have a few in my possession, but when I saw this gorgeous Blue Glass Yorkshire Dispenser at World Market, I just had to have it! Doesn’t that lovely blue hue just scream Summer?

5. Mason Jars

And last but not least – mason jars. They can be used for just about anything. Wrap a little baker’s twine around the rim and use them to serve up your flatware. Or even go a step further and add some washi tape and twine to some country jars for a festive way to serve your specialty drinks!

Speaking of specialty drinks – you know we love our World Market Italian Sodas to make signature drinks for every occasion! We’ve shared a delicious Blood Orange Sangria as well as a recent Citrus Berry Sangria – but today, I’m sharing our most recent party drink: a non-alcoholic, family-friendly Summer Spritzer!

I love World Market! I bought the crab napkins this year. I love the glass lanterns especially with the sea glass. I just posted a similar table setting. I may have to add the lanterns to my list of wants.

Hi Kathleen! I got those at World Market! In their gourmet food section, near the Torani syrups and Italian sodas. Aren’t they beautiful?
