Ladies – be prepared to fall in LOVE – with the Ralph Lauren Fall and Holiday 2013 Children’s Collection! On August 5th, Ralph Lauren hosted a “Day at the Stables” for moms and their daughters to view the fall and holiday 2013 collections. The backdrop? The Wölffer Stables in Sagaponack, NY. Hello gorgeous rustic goodness! Perfect for the classic preppy heritage lifestyle of Ralph Lauren.

The Fall 2013 Collection starts out with a rich combination of colorful iconic clothing perfect for back to school. It then follows with rich romantic florals and classic 1930′s menswear clothing, modernized for today’s fashionista with a backdrop reminiscent of classic Downton Abbey. For the Holiday 2013 Collection, there was a spirit of Rustic Americana, representing iconic styles for an idyllic Adirondack Holiday. The second part of the holiday collection was inspired by the dramatic palette of black, cream and gold, accented with the holiday sparkle of glittering beading and hand embroideries throughout. Perfect for both elegant uptown affairs as well chic downtown celebrations. Sound amazing? It is! Take a quick look, you’re going to die for this collection!

So what did you think? Did you swoon over the perfect backdrop, the adorable little girls or just the pure perfection that is the Fall and Holiday line? I think my favorite aspects were the warm and natural colors – lots of mustard yellows, pumpkin orange and natural tweed colors that just screamed Fall! My favorite time of year. I also adored all the lovely layers – cardigans, coats and blazers, oh my! A mixture of fabulous patterns and colors. The accessories were also on point – caps, berets, scarves, belts oh and lots of adorable patterned socks. I love how the classic preppy style we’ve grown to love by Ralph Lauren was softened by natural, exotic and floral elements. I also adored that so many of the girls had fancy, pretty dresses paired with comfortable flats and sneakers. Classic meets comfy. Perfect for today’s trendy little girl or teen. I think my nieces are going to love this collection!
