I recently headed down to my local Target to pick up a few of these new meals to give them a try. You can choose from an awesome variety of Honey Citrus Chicken, Lemongrass Salmon, Pineapple Black Pepper Beef, Plum Ginger Grain-Crusted Fish, Pomegranate Chicken, and Roasted Red Pepper Chicken meals. So far – I think the Roasted Red Pepper Chicken is my favorite!
As a working mom I can really appreciate a good meal on the go. And recently as I’ve started to make steps towards healthier choices, these Honestly Good meals are just the ticket! I typically eat dinner with the family, but these meals are PERFECT for lunch at the office. Easy to pack, easy to make and an affordable lunch option.
Another step I’m taking towards healthy living is more sleep! That’s right, this “night owl” has started to feel the effects of her night owl ways. Don’t get me wrong, I still will be on at night keeping things going here, I just may have to slow down a bit so that I’m not up into the wee hours of the morning doing it. I’ve already started into this routine and am feeling great!
Another big change I’m making towards healthy living is drinking more water. I always drink water, but I’m trying to make more of a conscious effort to get enough in each day. It’s amazing how just being hydrated can make you feel. Your body just works better! Right now I’ve set queues for drinking enough during the day, but I can already tell my body craves it more. That’s a good place to be!
